About Me Featured Homes properties ContactTroon Village and Troon North are master-planned communities within Northern Scottsdale that set a new standard for the golf lifestyle. Both communities are located in the north part of the Scottsdale city and metro area, where the combination of year-round sunshine, desert beauty and high-end housing creates a very special residential atmosphere. Troon Village is built around the widely recognized Country Club, home to a 50,000 square foot clubhouse and a course designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish. Troon North is anchored by its own golf facility, which features two courses, Monument and Pinnacle. Between these two areas lies Pinnacle Peak Park, a 150-acre desert mountain preserve. The Peak itself is a landform that rises 3,170 feet into the sky, creating a dramatic backdrop to these Scottsdale communities. The subdivisions within the two areas are designed with care, so as to leave the mountainous desert habitat largely intact. Winding roads navigate around large granite boulders and natural elevation changes; homes are built to take advantage of striking views of nearby mountains and twinkling city lights. Real estate options consist of semi-custom, custom and production single-family homes, plus townhouses and expansive home sites. Property ownership in the local Scottsdale communities comes with an impressive set of amenities. In addition to the award-winning golf, clubhouse privileges and scenic views, residents have access to hiking trails, swimming pools, parks and athletic courts and fields. Additionally, many of the Troon subdivisions are gated, providing homeowners with the ultimate in security and privacy.
Education Public education in the region is provided by Cave Creek Unified and Scottsdale Unified School District. Cave Creek is located a few miles north of Troon North. The district manages a total of seven campuses, serving 5,400 students. The schools closest to Troon North are Mountain Elementary, Desert Sun Elementary, Desert Arroyo Middle School and Cactus Shadows High School. Scottsdale Unified School District's jurisdiction is mainly south of the Troon communities; the district operates 34 campuses throughout the Phoenix-Scottsdale region. Recreation Scottsdale is truly a golfer's paradise. With dozens of highly ranked courses situated within a 20-mile radius, the dedicated golfer has a multitude of options. Troon residents, however, probably won't choose to go very far. That's because the golf and club facilities of the Troon communities are widely recognized as some of the best golfing in the country. All three courses, the Monument and Pinnacle at Troon North and the Troon Country Club, have consistently won awards and top ratings from industry press and professionals. For those who don't golf, the Pinnacle Peak Park, adjacent to Troon, provides ample opportunity for outdoor recreation. Pinnacle Peak itself is a large, desert landform made of granite, feldspar, mica and quartz. The park is a natural habitat for many desert animals and plants, from mountain lions and desert tortoises to ocotillo and palo verde trees. Today, the park is used mainly for exploring, hiking, rock climbing and horseback riding.Troon Village and Troon North in north Scottsdale have a notable selection of luxury housing.
